My boyfriend and I stayed at this restaurant Saturday night, taking advantage of the service and a 20% discount on The Fork. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, the waitress immediately prepared the table for us and seated us. The room is tiny, but we did not expect a big room also given the name of the restaurant, which is called “O purtus“.

The atmosphere is immediately familiar and welcoming. The predominant theme in the furnishing style of this restaurant is the sea and its declinations. It is a simple environment without too many pretensions. It is essential (as suggested by the waitress) to book a table as it is almost always full.

Let’s move on to the kitchen: we ordered as a starter a delicious and fancy fried calamari, and two fried packages with ricotta and prawns. The breading was excellent and the frying well done, even if the taste of the prawns in the paccheri was not felt, but only the ricotta.
We then continued with two “Linguine allo Scoglio”: the portions were plentiful, the taste perfect, the freshest seafood. My boyfriend didn’t even leave a parsley leaf!

As for the prices, we believe they are really honest, considering above all the quality of the products used. The Fork discount was applied correctly, which made it all the more convenient.


Finally, we can say that it was a pleasant evening and a beautiful discovery just a few steps from home. We very much appreciated the lack of haste in serving the dishes to free the table, despite being Saturday night. In this, it is possible to enjoy the evening chatting peacefully. Last note, it is possible to park in the Granatello parking lot a few steps from the restaurant, for a fixed fee, making everything easier given the difficulty of parking in Portici. Surely we will be back!
